Don’t Abandon Your Baby – Give Them Safely to Someone at a ‘Safe Haven’

The Texas ‘Baby Moses Law ‘allows you to safely give your baby to a person at a hospital emergency room, EMS station, or a fire station.

Please donate to our 501c3 so that we can bring awareness to this important topic. With the change in the Roe v Wade laws, baby abandonment is likely going to become a bigger issue in Texas and around the country.

Our group is working to:

1) Bring Awareness to the Baby Moses Law already in effect and Safe Havens to leave babies safely

2) Bring Awareness to Toll Free Hotlines available to discuss these issues before a bad decision is made

3) Explore the possibility of bringing Baby Boxes to Central Texas. We have raised over $8000 from generous donors and are exploring the first box placement at Coryell Health in Gatesville, Texas.

History of Texas

In 1999, after a sudden increase in abandoned infants, Texas became the first state to pass a law to give parents in distress, a safe and legal means to give up their new born babies.  The Baby Moses Law, allows mothers to legally abandon their children in their first 60 days of life with no questions asked. The purpose of the law is to provide a responsible option for distressed parents who see no alternative beyond infant abandonment or worse.
